Have been with KIMS from 2003, enjoyed the opportunity

  • To set up a neonatal intensive unit, that has been accredited level 3 B (highest in India) by National Neonatology Forum (NNF); the unit has practiced Family centered care (Parent participation) as its core strength
  • To establish a High Risk newborn follow up service
  • To nurture neonatology students through teaching programs under the umbrella of National Board of Education, Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) and NNF since 2008; our students have bagged Gold medals over 6 times at national exit examinations
  • To nurture nursing training; KIMS started the Nurses Fellowship program over 10 years back, the program is now under the banner of NNF; the nurses too have 3 Gold medals at national exit examinations
  • To promote research: Over 50 research projects have been completed and several published in reputed journals. The department conducts research methodology classes every week for students of all departments
  • To be editor of international reputed books
